No Ethanol Plant at the Harbour
On August 10th the newly formed Oshawa Port Authority announced the start of construction of an ethanol plant at the Oshawa Harbour by FarmTech Energy Corp.
Municipal, regional, and federal politicians are opposed to constructing this industrial polluting enterprise on the waterfront without an environmental assessment and using taxpayer’s money.
